The Little Big Things…

Soaking things in, seeing, watching, admiring, falling in love with, questioning, photographing, drawing, analyzing, observing. All these actions inform what I do. Inform the finished products. Sometimes it’s the little things that stir something profound. Profound for me, at least. It could be the texture of something, or the reflecting of colours against an opposite surface. The surprise of one shape against another, a sinewy line, a brilliant flower, a meandering cloud. Here’s a few photos of some of these late summer observations. And a sketch inspired by them.
